The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students.
Apraxia Kids is the leading nonprofit that strengthens the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
Child Apraxia Treatment - Once Upon a Time Foundation
The Once Upon A Time Foundation is a private foundation that works to help children with CAS by educating parents and speech-language pathologists about evidence-based treatment practices. These initiatives include: free online courses and videos, sponsoring free advanced trainings, funding research, and answering questions from parents, therapists, and educators relating to CAS.
Speech and Language Development (ASHA)
Developed by ASHA as a collective resource of norms for speech-language development. These resources will assist in answering questions regarding speech and language development in children such as typical age of sound acquisition, development of language, speech-language milestones, and resources to build speech and language skills.
