Speech-Language Evaluation and Therapy

Jennifer Haigh Speech Therapy, LLC offers speech and language evaluations and therapy by a licensed speech-language pathologist. Treating a variety of speech-language disorders and specializing in evaluating and treating children with speech sound disorders and speech motor planning disorders, as well as children and adults that use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

Childhood Apraxia of Speech Evaluations and Therapy. I specialize in evaluating and treating children with speech motor planning disorders using the Principles of Motor Learning and a motor-based approach. Children with CAS may have concommitant speech disorders. A specialized, individualized approach is used.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Evaluations and Therapy. Providing consultation for device selection and parent/caregiver education. Individual speech-language therapy using communication devices, apps, pictures and strategies to help develop and enhance communication skills. Assistance with AAC device maintenance.

Consultation

Collaboration with teachers, related service providers, and communication partners. IEP advocacy including review of IEPs and attending meetings to provide support and guidance.
